The Mount Carmel Apostolate of Prayer is a ministry of the Independent Catholic Christian Church that seeks to help Christians deepen their relationship with God in prayer, and to bring the fruits of that prayerful relationship into their daily life and ministry.  It is a legacy ministry of the Order of Hermits of Mercy of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, whose friar, Brother Robert Dabrow, entered into eternal rest on August 26, 2017, the Carmelite feast of the Transverberation of St. Teresa of Avila.  This Apostolate ministry continues the major themes of Brother Robert’s ministry as a Carmelite friar in the Independent Catholic Christian Church.
